PRE & POST-NATAL (PREGNANCY) PILATES CLASSES
My classes with Nicola have been glorious throughout my pregnancy. I arrived every week a knot of stress and was sent home soaring and relaxed. I definitely think it has contributed to me being able to continue cycling and walking into town at 40 weeks.
what classes can i attend?
Our Pilates Equipment Classes at Fundamentals level are open to those who have previously worked on the equipment, either prior to, or during their pregnancy.
You can gain this pre-requisite experience to join one of these classes, by attending a private 1-to-1 session with one of our specialist Pre & Post-Natal Instructors (Nic Conroy, Leanne Copley, Rachel Ross or Morven Parfitt) prior to attending these classes should you be new to the Equipment.
If you are Post Natal, you can attend any of our Mat Classes at Fundamentals level and Equipment Fundamentals classes, once you are 6 weeks postpartum (or 12 week if you've had a C-section). Nic, Leanne, Rachel and Morven are our Post Natal trained instructors and can therefore provide you with support during their classes.

When CAN I Start?
For those new to Pilates please wait until at least week 13 of pregnancy, so that you have completed the more exhausting part of pregnancy before coming to class and have sign off from your midwife.
We ask that you are at least 6 weeks postpartum and 12 if you have had a c-section, with sign off by your doctor to commence with exercise.
