YOUR QUESTIONS
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONSI’m a Beginner, where do I start?
If you’re free of injury you are welcome to join Reformer: Beginner, Mat: Pilates Fundamentals or Equipment: Beginner. These classes are a great place to start if you are brand new to Pilates or the Reformer, or are wanting to refresh your practice. If you’d like to try Equipment Pilates at our Queen Square studio, we recommend starting with our Equipment: Beginners Classes. We advise taking around 5 of these classes before moving onto our Equipment: Align Level Classes, this is so we can ensure you are confident on each piece of Pilates equipment, as you will be working more independently under the expert guidance of one of our expert teachers. If you are looking to build a little more confidence before starting group classes, we recommend booking a 1:1 session. You can read our full guide to class levels and types here. Make sure to check out our intro offers, which are the perfect way to test the waters of group and 1:1 sessions before signing up to memberships or passes. Unsure of where to start? Book a free consultation call and we can help guide you to create a plan tailored to your body and needs. I am working through an injury or medical condition, can I do Pilates?
Pilates is a fantastic way to work through any rehab needs, especially in the way we teach it. Since we opened, we have worked with people with a wide range of needs, and it always amazes us the power of movement to heal and support our body and mind. We do ask that if you’ve had surgery, have a medical condition, or are currently in pain, to first attend a 1:1 session with us. This is so we can spend time with you, explore your needs in detail, and assess your posture and movement. Then we can make recommendations moving forwards, be that more 1:1s or identify which group classes will suit you best. If you would like some advice on the best place to start, drop us an email to speak to one of our team at [email protected]. Or call us on 0117 214 1655. CAN I PURCHASE MORE THAN ONE INTRO OFFER?
Everyone is welcome to purchase one intro offer for classes and one intro offer for 1:1s. Once you have used your intro offer, the best value going forwards is to join us on a membership, where you’ll receive significant savings and lots of member perks! Remember, the team is always on hand during your intro offer to discuss your goals and needs, and we will happily provide guidance to help shape the best plan for you moving forwards. Refer to our terms and conditions for full details. WHAT IS YOUR WAITLIST POLICY?
When a client cancels and you are next on the waitlist, you will be automatically added to class. Note, automatic addition to class happens at any point up to 1 hour before class. You will receive a notification email and push notification to alert you of the waitlist to class promotion. If you have these turned off, we recommend that you keep checking your app or turn on notifications in your profile. By being on the waitlist we will assume you are ready and happy to attend class should a space become available.
